Project Location: Giza Governorate, Egypt
Case Background: The government strongly supports water-saving agricultural irrigation projects, and fruit farmers aim to improve the quality of oranges and expand the export market.
Planting Scale: Approximately 200 hectares of orange orchards
Climatic Conditions: Located on the edge of the desert, with high temperatures throughout the year and scarce annual precipitation
Technical Scheme:

Drippers and Pipe Network: Pressure-compensating drippers and a PE (Polyethylene) main pipe network system are used, with 5,000 drippers configured per hectare.

Automatic Control System: One central automatic control system is introduced to adjust irrigation volume through remote scheduling.

Integrated Water and Fertilizer System: This system enables precise drip application of water and fertilizer, and is equipped with 4 fertilizer application control valves.
Achievements:

Improved Water Resource Utilization Rate: The water utilization rate has increased by 70%, significantly reducing water resource waste.

Enhanced Fruit Grade: The quality grade of fruits has improved, and the export qualification rate has risen by 30%.
